Pelican & Post is a home-based small business located in McClellanville, South Carolina named after my late grandfather, Kelly "PawPaws" Kirchner. PawPaws was a kind hearted, generous gentle giant who discovered a love of art later in life. Some of his favorite items to draw included pelicans, magnolia flowers, cardinals, and farm house scenes.
I often find myself glancing upon two of his pelican drawings framed above my work space, overwhelmed with feelings of gratitude, love, and support. The drawings bring great joy and I could not think of a better way to honor PawPaws' memory than naming Pelican & Post after him.
